The guideline summaries below are provided as a service to practitioners in the MHNet network and are distributed with permission of the APA. They are not designed to stand on their own and should be used in conjunction with the full text of the Practice Guideline, which is available at the APA’s web site, www.psych.org. 

Additionally, MHNet has developed Practice Guidelines for Pediatric Bipolar Disorder and Opiate Detoxification to further assist providers in developing treatment plans for patients.
